Prof. Anthony Forsyth (RMIT University, Australia)

Anthony Forsyth is Professor at the Graduate School of Business and Law (RMIT University) and Consultant with the national legal firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth (Employment, Workplace & Safety Team). He is the co-author of the 6th edition of Creighton & Stewart’s Labour Law (2016) and co-editor of Rediscovering Collective Bargaining. Australia’s Fair Work Act in International Perspective (2012). In October 2015, Professor Forsyth was appointed by the Victorian State Government as Chair of the Independent Inquiry into the Labour Hire Industry and Insecure Work and he presented his Final Report to the Premier and Minister for Industrial Relations on 31 August 2016. Anthony’s research interests include collective bargaining, workplace dispute resolution, regulation of trade unions, labour hire/agency work and exploitation of vulnerable workers.
