Prof. Patrice Jalette (University of Montréal, Canada)

Patrice Jalette is Professor and Director of Doctoral Studies at Université de Montréal’s School of Industrial Relation. He has taught courses in labour relations at this institution since 2001. Patrice also works as a co-researcher at the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work (CRIMT) where he examines questions relating to employment and labor relations in multinational corporations and in the context of firm and global value chain restructuring, as well as the privatization and restructuring of public services. His work has been published in journals such as Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Human Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of International business, Studies, Relations industrielles/Industrial Relations, International Journal of Comparative Labour Law and Industrial Relations, Transfer, and American Behavioral Scientist. He has co-edited and co-authored La convention collective au Québec, that will be published by Chenelière Éducation in 2017, and Perspectives multidimensionnelles sur les restructurations d’entreprise, which was published by Les Presses de l’Université Laval in 2014.
